Annual International Investment Summit of Donetsk Region

The main goal of the Summit is to present the opportunities of the Donetsk Region, which is one of the most dynamically developing industrial regions of Ukraine, demonstrate the largest investment projects and discuss conditions and prospects for foreign companies’ activity in the Region. The participants will get acquainted with opinions of the leading European experts about the prospects of the Region development and its investment opportunities.

Presidents of Ukraine and Poland Viktor Yushchenko and Lech Kaczynski are expected to take part in the Summit.

The Investment Summit will be held on the initiative of Deloitte, Ernst & Young and Altera Finance companies, with participation of the leaders of Ukrainian business – System Capital Management, Industrial Union of Donbass and supported by Donetsk Region Council, Donetsk Region State Administration and Donetsk City Council.

The representatives of the authorities, key players of Ukrainian politics and business are expected to take part in the Summit’s work. The Summit will be dedicated to several themes: The Ukrainian-Polish Investment Forum and business conferences devoted to the real estate development and infrastructure projects in the framework of Region’ preparation to the Euro 2012, Investments into Real Sector of Donetsk Region, development of innovations and energy saving technologies.

The biggest investment projects of the Region, such as the new micro district in Donetsk city, the airport in the regional town, recreational towns in Svyatogorsk and on the Sea of Azov coast, motorways, large brick and concrete works, and more than 100 projects, will be presented in the framework of the Conferences and the exhibition accompanying the event.

According to the organizers’ forecast, the International Investment Summit of Donetsk Region is expected to host more than 300 participants from 20 countries and will become one of the most significant investor meeting in Ukraine over the past few years.
